Swansea Sixth Form College Wales Ltd, trading as Swansea College, was founded in
2013.
Swansea College is a completely inclusive, supportive and well-respected community
based institution. Our ethos is encapsulated in our zealous aim to be an outstanding
learning community, founded upon the pillars of diversity, tailored education and mutual
respect. These are important values we hold on to.
We are an ambitious, thriving college, with high aspirations for all who step across our
threshold: both students and staff alike! We work together in collaboration with the
students to help them achieve their best and to achieve their goals. Our aim is to continue
to be ‘a distinguished provider of the high quality education, enriching the lives of all
students within a lively, caring community and enabling all to develop the skills to meet the
demands of a changing world with confidence.’
We deliver an excellent school-home partnership with the parents, supporting students both
in school and when they are at home. This is especially important with our online classes
and tuitions, as this ensures that those students feel supported throughout their course.
From this, it can be stated that our teachers and support staff add significant value to all the
young people who come through our doors. We hope to see them grow as people and
citizens, not just their academic achievement.
It is this, combined with our smaller classes – to ensure each and every student gets
sufficient help from teachers, extra support or catch-up classes if needed and further
opportunities to develop sincere bonds with their teachers and classmates – that ensures we
are a flourishing college that can and will help our students to success and prosperity.
If you have any questions about anything we do. Please do not hesitate to call or write to us.
