Course Overview

Our AQA GCSE (9-1) Computer Science online course will enable students to develop their understanding of the main principles of problem solving using computers. They will apply their understanding to develop computer-based solutions to problems using algorithms and a high-level programming language. Students also develop a range of technical skills, as well as being able to effectively test and evaluate computing solutions.

The AQA GCSE (9-1) Computer Science online course will enable student to:

externally-examined papers.
Paper 1 is a written examination,  Paper 2 is a written examination.

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of the examination, you will receive a GCSE in The awarding body is AQAl.

You will achieve grade between 4-9 with the higher tier paper. If you just fail to achieve grade 4, you will be awarded an allowed grade 3.

Students who fail to meet the minimum standard for an allowed grade 3 will be recorded as U (unclassified) and will not receive a qualification certificate.
