Project Description
Courses
The GCSE examinations are one of the key times in a pupil’s academic life. These exams not only indicate educational success and achievement thus far, but also pave the path for progression to A-Level and beyond.
Students come to Swansea College primarily because of our small class sizes and location combined with an outstanding programme of pastoral support, we ensure students receive that extra level of personal attention they require for success.
Two-year course
This is an ideal programme to support GCSE study as teachers can spend time going over topics in greater detail than in the typical classroom situation and can answer individual queries on topics with which students are struggling.
There are compulsory elements within this programme
One-year retake course
The one year retake course is only available for students repeating GCSE or who have had an interrupted education.
If students have had an interrupted education, considerations may be made to allow them to study a one year course instead of two years. Please contact the college with this request and provide as much information as possible in the request.
These students may also be welcome to take part in our live lessons if they choose and if the material being covered will benefit them in their retake.
If you are interested in a course and you cannot see this available on our website page, please feel free to contact us with your interest email: office@swanseacollege.com.
