There are no previous entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
Assessment
This is a Linear specification. Linear means that students will sit all their exams at the end of the course
To achieve a GCSE in Chemistry you will be assessed across all units. There are 2 paper-based examinations and practical assessments to achieve this.
Course Duration
You will have 1 year to complete the full GCSE Chemistry online course from the date you start the course. You will be able to study at your own pace and in your own time

Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of the practical assessment and exams, you will receive a GCSE in The awarding body is AQA.
You will achieve grade between 4-9 with the higher tier paper. If you just fail to achieve grade 4, you will be awarded an allowed grade 3.
Students who fail to meet the minimum standard for an allowed grade 3 will be recorded as U (unclassified) and will not receive a qualification certificate.
